Sabrina Piccinin ha un dottorato in Studi Filologici, Letterari e Linguistici (curriculum Linguistica) conseguito presso l’Università di Verona e un dottorato in Sciences du Langage conseguito presso l’Università Toulouse II – Jean Jaurès. I suoi interessi di ricerca riguardano l’acquisizione e l’insegnamento di lingue seconde/straniere, con particolare attenzione all’italiano L2. In particolare, le sue specifiche aree di interesse riguardano la processazione del lessico morfologicamente complesso, i processi di lettura e comprensione del testo e lo sviluppo delle competenze di lettoscrittura da parte di apprendenti adulti analfabeti o scarsamente alfabetizzati.
