Curriculum

Beatrice Melodia Festa è Professore a contratto di Letteratura Anglo-americana e Lingua Inglese all'Università di Verona. In qualità di docente a contratto, ha insegnato Letteratura Anglo-americana all’Università di Bari e all’Università di Parma. I suoi principali interessi di ricerca comprendono letteratura americana, tecnologia, virtuale e new media a cui ha dedicato la monografia The Evolution of Virtual Identity in American Literature (Ombre Corte, 2022); la letteratura americana contemporanea (cyberfiction, Afrofuturism, rapporti tra tecnologia, virtuale e African-American culture); Edith Wharton e William Faulkner a cui è dedicata la monografia William Faulkner sul grande schermo. Adattamenti, rivisitazioni, trasposizioni (La Bottega Editoriale, 2023). Attualmente si occupa di adattamento cinematografico, intermedialità, letteratura americana e arti visive (cinema e letteratura). E’ membro della redazione di Iperstoria- Journal of American and English Studies.
