Lesson timetable

Learning outcomes

Introduction to the main characteristics of German dialects, German colloquial language (Umgangssprache) and the German Standard Language.

Assessment methods and criteria

Evaluation of the papers written by students on their projects. Papers have to be written in German. Students who cannot attend class regularly may take an oral exam.

Linguistic competence required: level C1accademico (for German Language 4) or level C2 (for German Language 5), certified either by the Centro Linguistico di Ateneo (CLA) or by any other authorized testing centre.
