The degree in foreign languages and literature aims at providing students with a good knowledge of two European languages and their respective literatures , by considering them comparatively. It also provides knowledge of a third foreign language. Moreover, a thorough philological training is provided and the skills are developed that students will need to work with literary texts and in the field of cultural science as well as teaching. The degree course in Foreign Languages and Literatures is above all aimed at those students who have a particular interest in the study of European literatures and the links between them, also in terms of extra-European traditions.
Degree in Languages and Culture for Publishing Course not running
The degree course in Languages and culture for publishing aims at supplying its graduates, with both a good knowledge of two foreign languages, and with suitable training in the history of books and illustrations, in particular the historical and technical aspects of publishing also in the comparative study area.
Degree in Languages and Culture for Tourism Management Course not running
The aim of the degree course in Language and culture for tourism management is to train graduates- who already have a good command of at least two European languages and knowledge of their respective cultures as well as adequate knowledge of the legal and economic aspects of the companies that operate in the tourism area - and who are able to work already in the world of tourism organisation, meaning that they are familiar, in particular, with new forms of national and international tourism. The degree course is aimed at those students who are interested in tourism phenomena in general and, more particularly, at those who intend to work in both a professional and managerial context.

The aim of the degree course in Linguistics and foreign language didactics is both to provide for students a good knowledge of at least two foreign languages and the respective literatures and cultures, to give them a thourough training, above all, in the field of theoretical and applied linguistics and in foreign language didactics. Moreover, the course puts a particular emphasis on the most modern methodologies for teaching modern languages. The degree course in Linguistics and foreign language didactics, therefore, is aimed at those students who have, not only an evident interest in languages and foreign literature, but above all a particular disposition for teaching them.
