Short description of contents:

Aim of this essay is to debate the relationship between the Israeli–Palestinian conflict and its representation in contemporary Spanish theatre. In order to do so, three working hypothesis will be formulated to examine the plays, that will be studied in connection with its historical context and the media environment; a special attention will be payed to the modes of the representation of traumatic events and its relationship with the politics of memory.
