I earned a Master's degree in Italian Studies, European Literary Cultures, and Linguistic Sciences from the University of Bologna, with a thesis on comparative literature focusing on the influences of the melancholic tradition in contemporary novels (supervised by Guido Mattia Gallerani and co-supervised by Vanessa Pietrantonio).
Currently, my main areas of interest revolve around empirical aesthetics and digital humanities, particularly the study of cognitive and sociocultural processes involved in the attribution of literary value to works of fiction.
