Doctorate research program
My main interest is to make critical reflections on the ways of theorising syntax. This led me to confront how various frameworks analyse a common empirical topic, i.e. Greenberg's Universal 20. My research focus is twofold. On the one hand, I am analysing problems and exceptions to the various predictions made about U20. On the other hand, I am evaluating what are the advantages and the drawbacks that various formal approaches show at capturing the data.
