Curriculum

Anmol Deep Singh is teaching assistant of English Literature (SSD L-LIN10) at the University of Verona, university where he obtained his degrees in Lingue e Culture per l’Editoria (Languages and Cultures for Publishing) and in Comparative European and Non-European Languages and Literatures.

He collaborated in the research project Mapping Legal Issues in English Literature and Culture, a project part of the Department of Foreign Languages and Literatures’ excellence project in Digital Humanities; he then presented the results of his research at the ELO2022 (Electronic Literature Organisation) conference in a poster session area with a paper entitled Between Space, Place and Law: Mapping E.M. Forster's Maurice.

He also published the article Mediterranean Echoes in ‘The Tempest’: the Rape of Miranda between Race and Politics in the volume Shakespeare and the Mediterranean: The Tempest (2023) in the series Skenè. Text and Studies.

His research interests mainly focus on cultural and interdisciplinary studies/approaches. In particular, he has focused on the relationship between literature and various fields, including Medicine (Health Humanities), Psychology (Trauma Studies), Food Studies, Digital Technologies (Digital Humanities) and Law (Law and Literature).

Currently, he collaborates with the Verona Shakespeare Fringe and the Skenè Research Centre - Interdisciplinary Theatre and Drama Studies, also participating in the organisation of several conferences and congresses, including the international congress World Shakespeare Congress which will be held in Verona in 2026.
