Paola Peratello is a Ph.D. student in Germanic and Digital Philology at the University of Verona. Graduated
cum laude in Linguistics, she holds a 1
st Level Master’s degree in Digital Humanities (Ca’ Foscari University of Venice). Involved in congresses, tutorship activities and collaborations, she published an XML encoding work from her pilot project of encoding a page from Codex Runicus, AM 28 8vo, in Menota Test Catalogue. Her Ph.D. project focuses on the philological and linguistic survey of Codex Runicus by means of scholarly digital edition in compliance with XML-TEI P5 standards and Menota Guidelines. Her main research interests are
runica manuscripta, Scandinavian manuscript tradition and XML-encoding.
