My Ph.D. project focuses on the philological and linguistic survey of Copenhagen, Den Arnamagnæanske Samling, AM 28 8vo (Codex Runicus) by means of scholarly digital edition in compliance with XML-TEI P5 standards and Menota Guidelines (handbook v. 3.0), which allows, among other things, a more in-depth, consistent and accessible analysis. This project is funded by a Digital Humanities Ph.D. scholarship within the project "Dipartimenti di Eccellenza".

Paola Peratello is a 3rd year Ph.D. student in Germanic and Digital Philology at the University of Verona. Graduated cum laude in Linguistics, she holds a 1st Level Master’s degree in Digital Humanities (Ca’ Foscari University of Venice). Involved in congresses, tutorship activities and collaborations, she published the digital edition of the runic fragment Stockholm, Kungliga Biblioteket, SKB A 120 in Menota Public Catalogue. Her Ph.D. project focuses on the analysis and the creation of a digital edition of Copenhagen, Den Arnamagnæanske Samling, AM 28 8vo (Codex Runicus) in compliance with XML-TEI P5 standards and Menota Guidelines, to be hosted in the Menota archive. Her main research interests are runology, runica manuscripta, Scandinavian manuscript tradition, digital philology and multispectral imaging (MSI).
