Research
My PhD Thesis La lengua española en los textos periodísticos de Estados Unidos: léxico internacional, voces regionales y estadounidismos focuses on the analysis of Spanish lexicon in the US Hispanic press. The focus lies on the description of Spanish regionalisms, anglicisms and estadounidismos used in the Spanish variety of journalistic texts. I work with Spanish linguistic corpora, and data analysis is done through a compilation of an original self-made journalistic corpus, PRENSEEU18 .
