Luca Salvi is specialised in Hispanic-American Literature. His major research areas include the study of modern and contemporary Hispanic-American poetry and colonial literatures. He is currently a member of the international research project “En los bordes del archivo, I: escrituras periféricas en los Virreinatos de Indias” (FFI2015-63878-C2-1-P) and the project “Poesía actual y política: análisis de las relaciones contemporáneas entre producción cultural y contexto sociopolítico” (FFI2016-77584-P), both founded by the Ministerio de Economía y Competitividad of the Spanish Government. He is also a member of the international reasearch project «Tropos, tópicos y cartografías: figuras del espacio en la literatura latinoamericana de la Conquista a la Modernidad» (CONICET 112201 501007 44CO)
