Research
Chiara's PhD project focuses on the interplay between language and music. Specifically, it aims at investigating whether and to what extent the processing of harmonic violations interacts with the simultaneous processing of linguistic violations of different syntactic complexity.

Chiara is also interested in clinical linguistics, specifically in the linguistic production of adults suffering from mental disorders. She graduated cum laude in Linguistics at the University of Verona, with a Master's thesis on discourse production in schizophrenia. More recently, she has worked on linguistic impairments in Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD).
