Learning outcomes

The course intends to provide students with the foundations of a knowledge of the history and the techniques of photography, and to furnish the elements for a critical evaluation and interpretation of analogical images, with particular reference to the affirmation of illustrated books, to the forms and modes of production which characterised the use of photography in publishing.
