Learning outcomes

My course intends to discuss the problems of collective identities and specific artistic individuation in this culture and literature through the analysis of plays, narratives and poems.

Assessment methods and criteria

The final examination requires the knowledge of the American history, culture and Literature especially of the XIXth and XXth century and the reading in English of the listed texts.
