Diachronic and synchronic metalinguistic analysis of the phonetical, morphological, syntactical, textual and pragmatic structures of the French language as well as its different levels of oral and written communication.
The course is structured in two parts: Part 1 is common to all four courses, Part 2 only concerns class 3 students.
Introduction to languages for special purposes and terminology. General dictionaries, specialized dictionaries and terminologcal databases. Contrastive approach to translation from French into Italian. Linguistic analysis of specialized texts.
