Learning outcomes

The aim of this course is to acquaint students with modern and contemporary Russian literature (from the 18th to the 20th century), as well as with the culture and history connected to it. Every year the course will offer deep investigations of the main epochs and themes of the above-mentioned period.

La Russia e l’Oriente»
Il corso si propone di analizzare diversi concetti di Oriente che emergono dal punto di vista della storia della cultura e della letteratura russa, a partire dal problema della collocazione della Russia dentro o fuori l’Europa.

Assessment methods and criteria

Oral assessment of the acquired competences and of students’ textual and cultural-historical analytic ability. A written assessment before exam times is contemplated for students who attended the classes.
