Overview
Orthoepy (from the Greek orthoépeia - orthós meaning "correct" and épos meaning "speech") refers to the correct pronunciation of a specific oral tradition. The course will be mainly practical, with readings and exercises designed to enable participants to change deeply rooted pronunciation habits. Students of the course will learn about orthoepy, experiment with the characteristics and difficulties of it and study methods and tools to continue their journey towards professional-sounding, accent-neutral, orthoepically-correct speech.
