Curriculum

 La Prof.ssa  SHARON HARTLE è specializzata nella didattica della lingua inglese (ELT) . In particolare si occupa del campo di English for Specific Purposes (ESP) e specificamente dello sviluppo dei materiali didattici per l'insegnamento dell'inglese (L2).  E' intressata al settore dell'elearning, dell'uso della tecnologia nell'insegnamento della lingua e degli ambienti di Blended Learning. Si occupa anche della valutazione dei livelli di competenza linguistica per quanto riguarda la lingua inlgese e dal 2015 è membro del Comitato Internazionale della valutazione dell'inglese (L2) TEASIG (Testing Evaluation and Assessment Special Intrest Group) dell'' Associazione Internazionale per l'Insegnamento della Lingua Ingelse  (L2)(IATEFL). Un'altra sua area di ricerca di fondamentale interesse è English Medium Instruction (EMI) la formazione dei docenti che insegnano la propria materia in lingua inglese (L2).

Research groups

GIAM
Il gruppo di ricerca interdisciplinare (L-LIN/21 Slavistica, L-LIN/02 Didattica delle lingue moderne, L-LIN/12 Lingua inglese) si propone di realizzare e testare un modello di insegnamento delle lingue straniere in ambito universitario, con particolare riferimento al russo e all’inglese. Nello specifico, si prevede la definizione e la sperimentazione di un modello combinato di strategie, modalità e strumenti didattici, attraverso l’utilizzo di tecnologie innovative che facilitano l’inclusione nel quadro di un approccio didattico blended. Tale modello sarà in grado di rispondere all’istanza sempre più urgente di creare percorsi didattici inclusivi, al fine di promuovere e supportare la piena ed equa partecipazione di ciascuno studente al processo educativo.

Contemporary English
English Corpus Linguistics Corpus linguistics is the study of language as expressed in collections of "real world" texts. English Corpus linguistics may focus either on historical databases (diachronic corpora) or on Present-day English texts (sychronic corpora). Corpus linguistics also studies how one language relates to and with another language, by means of parallel/comparable corpora, which are are automatically derived from source texts.
