Ludovica Boi (Rome, 1992) is a PhD candidate in German Literature at the University of Verona and a Fellow at the Stuttgart Research Centre for Text Studies (SRCTS, University of Stuttgart), with an interdisciplinary background in Philosophy and Aesthetics. She previously held a research fellowship in Moral Philosophy within the project "HEALING – HEALth and Illness in Nietzsche and the Greeks" (University of Verona, 2021-2023), focusing on Nietzsche’s theoretical works and correspondence on health and illness.
In 2020, she was a Research Fellow at the Istituto Italiano per gli Studi Filosofici (Naples), working on the sources of Giorgio Colli's early metaphysics. Awarded two DAAD scholarships (Dresden, Eichstätt) and training fellowships from the IISF, she has presented her research at national and international conferences (Germany, Switzerland, Poland). Member of the Robert Musil Society and the Giorgio Colli Study Centre, she serves as secretary of the Circolo Nietzsche Verona and as editor for the journals "Paradosso" and "Filosofia italiana". She is also an active peer reviewer for several international journals in Philosophy and Literary Studies.
Her research interests include Nietzsche’s Aesthetics, Austrian Modernism, Philosophy of Literature, contemporary Phenomenology of Religion, and Mysticism. Author of two monographs on Giorgio Colli (Il mistero dionisiaco in Giorgio Colli, 2020; L’aurora inapparente, 2024), she has published several articles in peer-reviewed journals and edited volumes. Her current research examines Robert Musil’s philosophical laboratory, with a particular focus on Der Mann ohne Eigenschaften.
