The project combines reflections by authors and critics on the critical debate about short fiction and, more to the point, colonial and postcolonial short fiction from Australia, New Zealand, the South Pacific, with a variety of critical approaches to stories read in constant comparison with the writers' poetics and qualified in their contextual (linguistic, socio-cultural, political) specifics.
