Programma di ricerca dottorato

La mia ricerca si focalizza sullo studio del talian, lingua di minoranza parlata principalmente nello stato di Rio Grande do Sul, in Brasile. Il progetto prevede: una prima parte in cui si approfondisce la situazione sociolinguistica in cui il talian è inserito e si propone di misurare la vitalità sociolinguistica della lingua, e una seconda parte in cui si analizzano strategie comunicative di co-costruzione dell'interazione tramite l'analisi della conversazione. Lo studio prevede una fase di lavoro sul campo in cui sono raccolti dati interazionali, sono condotte interviste semistrutturate e vengono distrubuiti dei questionari di indagine. In questo modo, si cerca di avere una panoramica completa sia ad un livello macro in una prospettiva di ecologia linguistica che ad un livello micro di analisi linguistica attraverso le strategie linguistiche impiegate dalla comunità di minoranza.

My research focuses on the study of talian, a minority language which is primarily spoken in Rio Grande do Sul, in Brasil. The project is organized in one first part in which the sociolinguistical situation is  investigated and the sociolinguistic vitality of the talian language is measured, and a second part in which communicative strategies that co-construct interaction are assessed through conversation analysis. The study foresees a fieldwork during which interactional data will be collected, semistructured interviews will be conducted and will be distributed some questionnaires. Therefore, an orview should be achieved both on the macro level in an ecological linguistics prospective both on the micro level through linguistic strategies employed by the minority community.
