The research group "BIdialogyca" aims to digitize, study and analyze the transmission of many dialogues written in the field of Iberian studies, translated and published in Italy in the 16th and 17th centuries.
The Empirical Study of Literature Innovative Training Network (ELIT) is an Horizon 2020 Project (MSCA-ITN) whose mission is to provide a Joint/Double Doctorate level training programme, on literary reading in the digital age (https://www.elitnetwork.eu/).
The Research group focuses on the evolution of Spanish lexicon, with special attention paid to technical and scientific terminology. Its main lines of research are:
1) lexicological and lexicographical analysis of textual corpora, including a contrastive and multilingual approach;
2) analysis of the intercultural and interlinguistic relationships that throughout the centuries have contributed to the development of Spanish lexicon by means of language interference and contact phenomena, i.e. loanwords, calque and semantic calque.
«En los bordes del archivo, I: escrituras periféricas en los Virreinatos de Indias» aims to critically study the Hispnic-American Colonial archive as a “place of memory” and an instrument that allows the “archaeological” interpretation of knowledge.
Il gruppo di ricerca interdisciplinare (L-LIN/21 Slavistica, L-LIN/02 Didattica delle lingue moderne, L-LIN/12 Lingua inglese) si propone di realizzare e testare un modello di insegnamento delle lingue straniere in ambito universitario, con particolare riferimento al russo e all’inglese. Nello specifico, si prevede la definizione e la sperimentazione di un modello combinato di strategie, modalità e strumenti didattici, attraverso l’utilizzo di tecnologie innovative che facilitano l’inclusione nel quadro di un approccio didattico blended. Tale modello sarà in grado di rispondere all’istanza sempre più urgente di creare percorsi didattici inclusivi, al fine di promuovere e supportare la piena ed equa partecipazione di ciascuno studente al processo educativo.
Within the international network of GNOME research groups (https://www.gr-gnome.eu/) coordinated by the University “La Sapienza” of Rome, the Gnome-UniVr group carries out its research activity by focusing on two main guidelines: 1) phraseology and paremiology of Spanish with a diachronic approach; 2) bilingual phraseography.
MAMBRINO PROJECT http://www.mambrino.it/ deals with the continuations and translations of the Spanish chivalric novel in 16th century Italy.
The corpus includes about fifty Italian prose novels.

The Gruppo di Studio sul Cinquecento francese aims to develop and promote research on 16th century France from a European point of view, with a special focus on French-Italian relationships. The Gruppo studies and discusses topics involving literary movements and genres (such as poetry, fiction and drama), the history of ideas and the political and religious history of the Renaissance.
The research group focuses on researching and developing techniques for extracting information from manuals and textual content in the field of robotic surgery. It involves the University of Verona (with three departments: Computer Science, Engineering for Innovation Medicine, and Foreign Languages and Literatures) and the University of Mannheim (Germany).
The Research group focuses on scientific and technical texts translated to and from Spanish during the Modern Age. The main research lines include:
1) macro- and microtextual analysis of source texts and their translations, taking into consideration secondary aspects such as the social and cultural context as well as the status of the translator;
2) the analysis of Spanish technical and scientific terminology, also in relation to other European languages.
