A discussion of the main theories of second language acquisition – linguistic, psycholinguistic and sociocultural. Particular attention will be given to Processability Theory dealing with the development of grammar.
Per ogni teoria trattata verranno discusse risposte alle seguenti domande: che cosa si intende spiegare? Come viene considerato il linguaggio? Come viene considerato il processo di apprendimento? Come viene considerato l’apprendente? Su quali dati empirici viene fondata la teoria? Sono previste applicazioni utilizzabili nell’insegnamento?
Programma e bibliografia sono gli stessi per tutti gli studenti, sia frequentanti sia non frequentanti.
