The course intends to start with the definition of the concept of tradition and its revision in the postmodern period. It will then proceed to discuss about the history of the birth and evolution of classical fairy tales: it will finally analyse a series of collections of fairy tales and of novels centred, openly or secretely, on the revision of classical fairy tales.
