The course gives the students a specific knowledge about the fundamental principles of italian, european and international legislation concerning tourism.
The aim of the course is to understand the way in which public institutions and private subjects work on different levels (European, national, regional and local), in order to develop tourism and to offer tourist services.

The action of public institutions; the regional system in Italy; the fundamental principles of public administration.
The international legislation and the European action concerning tourism.
The national, regional and local institutions of tourism. The reform of tourist national legislation and its prospects for the future.
Part II: The private subjects of tourism
The travel agency; the hotels and bed and breakfasts; the farm holidays; the tourist professions
Part III: The tourist agreements
The reservation and the stay in a hotel; the transportation of people; the travel agreement and the tourist package
