Learning outcomes

The "roots" of Francophone literatures in Belgium and Africa.

The course aims at presenting major problems and themes of Francophone literatures, and at analysing classical texts, which will permit to reflect on relationships between modernity and traditions, dominant-dominated, feminism, and the linguistic strategies of these authors.

At the end of the course, the students will be able to analyze the problems and themes, as well as the texts presented during the course, with an appropriate terminology.
