Learning outcomes

The course aims at providing a basic knowledge of the principal trends and the most influential authors of modern (1900-1949). In addition, an overview of the historical and cultural context of the first half of twentieth-century in China will be part of the course.

Assessment methods and criteria

The final exam consists of a written test containing multiple-choice questions and open questions. Multiple-choice questions offer four possible options to choose between while the open questions require a brief answer and some of them a more structured answer. The test will take two hours.
The results will be published on the e-learning page of the course.
