The main aim of this course is the direct analysis of some novels which were well-known in Europe between 18th and 19th century. Particular attention will be given to writers of the early 19th century.
The oral examination evaluates a student’s overall knowledge of the historical-literary context and in particular the reading and the analysis of texts. At the end of the course a precise indication of the texts which must be studied, with a list of questions which can be asked during the examination will be given to the students.
