The project explores the reception of Shakespeare in Italy in the twentieth century and the new millennium. It includes the edition of hitherto unpublished promptbooks (e.g. Julius Caesar, 1935; Coriolanus, The Merchant of Venice,1930s), and study of Shakespeare festivals within the European context. It also includes the construction of open-access digital archives collecting relevant material.
