Learning outcomes

The course goal is to introduce network technologies, especially those that are connected with e-commerce.

Syllabus

The course is formed by three parts, intended to introduce e-commerce techniques from a technological viewpoint, from an architectural viewpoint, and, finally from an application viewpoint.

The first part:

1) Computer Security
a. General concepts of security;
b. Password management in a network
2) Cryptography;
a. Double key cryptography;
3) Negotiation theory
a. Game theory;
b. Bargaining;
c. Auction;
d. Modeling systems with mediation;

The second part:

4) Internet architecture concepts;

7) Internet and extranet. Login and password;
8) Virtual networks;
9) Net technologies

The third part:
