Lesson timetable

Learning outcomes

The course intends to start with the definition of the concept of tradition and its revision in the postmodern period. It will then proceed to discuss about the history of the birth and evolution of classical fairy tales: it will finally analyse a series of collections of fairy tales and of novels centred, openly or secretely, on the revision of classical fairy tales.

Assessment methods and criteria

EXAM:
The lessons will be in English. The exam will be an oral discussion in English on the various texts of the course (part A), and on the critical- theoretical texts of part B.
