Beginning with the Russian alphabet, we will first analyse the correspondences between phonemes and graphemes, as well as the major phonological processes of the Russian language; and then look at the forms and main functions of the features of noun morphology (number, gender, case). Finally, we will discuss the main categories of verb morphology (number, person, tense), with special attention to the aspect feature.
