Learning outcomes

The course aims to study the Russian life in the relationship with its major institutions from ancient Novgorod till the 21st century.

Syllabus

Russia is a country where the state has always had the priority in production and consumption in the cultural sector. The interactive multimedia course is telling major Russian institutions from ancient times to the present day with special focus on the cities famous for art and science such as Novgorod, Kazan, Kiev, Vladimir, St. Petersburg, but also provincial centers like Yaroslavl, Krasnoyarsk and Ekaterinburg and Moscow, the Capital.
