To deepen the knowledge of the Soviet social and cultural life of the post-Stalinist times, and in particular of the Sixties and the Seventies, through the reading of literary works, watching movies, listening to movies and analyzing works of architecture, paintings and sculptures. The course objective is to provide, through the direct contact with these materials, a knowledge of those decades as live and immediate as possible, which is fundamental for the understanding of Soviet history and of the period after the fall of the USSR, up to the present days.
The material in Russian language will be provided during the course, together with some supplements to the critical material.
Assessment through oral examination.
