Learning outcomes

The course aims at examining the rich tradition of the classical fable, of Aesop and Phaedrus, having animals, mainly, as its protagonists, in order to study its evolution and its adaptations over the centuries, especially in times more closely concerning us.

Aesopian fables and apologues in Italian literature from its origins to the ninenteenth century.
