Development across cultures: culture-specific achievements trajectories, and predictors

Lunedì 26 marzo, alle 14, nell'aula SMT.03 del Polo Santa Marta, sarà ospite in ateneo Heidi Keller (Hebrew University of Jerusalem) per una lezione aperta al pubblico dal titolo "Development across cultures: culture-specific achievements trajectories, and predictors". L'open lecture è organizzata all'interno della scuola di dottorato in Scienze umanistiche.


Heidi KELLER is Professor Emeritus at Osnabrück University and a Director of Nevet Greenhouse of Context-Informed Research and Training for Children in Need at Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Her main interest concerns the conception of development as the interface between biology and culture. Her research program focuses on cultural analyses of infants’ early socialization contexts and their developmental consequences in diverse cultural environments. Author of several monographs and hundreds of scientific articles on infancy and child development across cultures, she has been awarded the Nehru chair professorship at the MS University of Baroda, India, and the fellowship in residence of Baroda, India, and the fellowship in residence of the Netherlands Institute of Advanced Sciences.
