Enterprise 4.0 and digital transformation for micro, small and medium businesses in Verona

The research group was established in relation to the project entitled “Firm 4.0 and digital transformation for SMEs in Verona” - which results from the cooperation of the University of Verona and Verona Chamber of Commerce- with the intent to share its organizational, managerial, production and logistics and online marketing competences. The research group acts in synergy with Punto Impresa Digitale of the Chamber of Commerce to provide answers to the digital development needs of 100 Verona’s firms and is linked to the analogous research group at the Department of Computer Science. The research group of the Department of Business Administration intends to evaluate the level of digital readiness of the firms of the territory, organize training workshops addressing firms’ needs, conduct follow up actions in the firms and monitoring activities through the observatory for the digital transformation in the North East. The main actors are two research fellows and the students who act as digital ambassadors in the firms, who are selected by the University also among the students enrolled in the courses of the Department of Business Administration and among its graduates.
