Skenè

The Skenè research group deals with drama and theatre, from the antiquity to the present day, with a comparative and interdisciplinary approach. It focuses upon the transmigration of topics, narratives, theatergrams, genres and styles within the context of the reception, performance, translation and cultural studies, among others. The group also explores the possibilities offered by the digital humanities for the study of drama texts. The research group runs the open-acess Skenè. Journal of Theatre and Drama Studies (http://www.skenejournal.it/index.php/JTDS) and the Skenè. Texts and Studies online series (http://www.skenejournal.it/index.php/TS).
